Campaign signed by monkey-land aims to highlight the brand’s support for the sport
“Imagine someone who flies. Who flies very well.” This is the provocation that Shell is proposing with its new campaign entitled “Imagine”, which aims to highlight the brand’s support for one of the youngest and most promising talents in Brazilian motorsport in recent times.
In the film that heads the communication, created by monkey-land, the viewer is invited to use their imagination to think about the figure that is driving the car that appears on the tracks at high speed.
The narration says that the driving is done by someone who started karting at the age of 10 and today competes in Formula 4, as well as being part of the Ferrari Driver Academy and part of the Shell V-Power driver team. The end of the play is marked by the surprise that this pilot is actually young Aurelia Nobels.
The film then invites the audience to “imagine again”, since, most likely, the image thought was of a boy, and not of a female figure.
“The automotive universe is strongly centered on the male figure. With this new campaign, we seek to subtly highlight and, consequently, promote the female presence in all sports”, stated Bruna Mota, brand experience coordinator at Razen, a licensed company of the Shell brand.
In addition to the commercial, a series of other content was created for the @brasil.shell and Aurelia’s own Instagram channel, showing more about her profile, her relationship with sport and her family.
