A Havaianas renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) for the year 2024, making clear its commitment and support to the Brazilian Paralympic delegation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The parties have been together since 2020.
In March of this year, the company had already renewed its support for Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB). Havaianas was an official supporter of Team Brasil until the end of 2021 and launched several licensees, including sandals, t-shirts, jackets and towels.
Havaianas wants to increasingly reinforce its commitment to the Paralympic movement, supporting our delegation since 2020. 2024 will be no different, we are very excited to represent Brazil with the delegation and be part of this important moment for Paralympic sport, said Maria Fernanda Albuquerque, global VP of marketing at Havaianas.
Under the renewal, the company will be the official slipper of the Brazilian Paralympic delegation at the opening ceremony in Paris.
We, at the Brazilian Paralympic Committee, are very happy with the renewal of our partnership with Havaianas, this national symbol. Our work remains firm to increase the population’s awareness regarding the inclusion of people with disabilities through sport and Havaianas, by joining us, contributes greatly to our cause, added Mizael Conrado, two-time Paralympic blind football champion (Atenas 2004 and Beijing 2008) and president of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee.
In addition to its presence at the opening ceremony, the brand is also planning other actions to take in 2024, as it did in 2020.
