The event between brands takes place in two units in the state of So Paulo
Oxxo and Bauducco teamed up to decorate some units in the retail market. For seven weeks, the Guarulhos and Campinas units will be decorated with the Bauducco brand identity. Bauducco Chocottone will be the protagonist of the action to celebrate the arrival of Christmas.
According to Roberto Barbera, marketing and commercial director at Oxxo, this is the first time that a food retailer has carried out this type of action in Brazil. In Mexico, the brand’s home country, the practice is already quite common and is known as ‘tienda insignia’, something like ‘flagship store’ in Portuguese, and more than 100 flagship stores have been created in co-branding with industries.
“Starting this action with Bauducco was perfect timing. We are known as the ‘good neighbor’ of the neighborhood, through this approach we created with our consumers. And this reflects the entire Christmas atmosphere that we want to convey in this first project with the company, in addition to working on one of the most important seasonalities for Brazilians with a reference product for every Christmas dinner”, he said.
