OUi presented its new Christmas campaign, starring Chay Suede and Laura Neiva. The action was announced after the actor was photographed spraying the fragrance in a pharmacy in São Paulo.
The intention was to generate, from the image, the question regarding which fragrance the actor uses. After countless questions about what the actor smells like, Chay Suede approached the brand and suggested that it reveal its fragrance before the campaign, starting the action that introduces Brazilians to the French way of giving gifts.
The news that Chay Suede was caught in a personal moment using perfume caused the brand to break the website’s daily sales record. The Iconique Intense 001 fragrance, used by the actor, was one of the best-selling men’s fragrances during the reveal day and evokes the warmth of coffee nuances with complementary notes of tonka bean and sandalwood.
The brand’s campaign tells us that, in French tradition, Christmas is more than a simple exchange of gifts: a gesture full of meaning and refinement.
