With catalog expansion, Disney plans to integrate streaming for the second quarter of 2024.

The announcement came through The Walt Disney Company, which informed that the intention is to offer the broad collection of both streams in a single place.
“This integration will allow the unparalleled strength of our content to be available in a single application, providing an improved and superior experience, as well as simplified access to subscribers, who are always at the center of our strategies”, commented Diego Lerner, president of The Walt Disney Company Latin America.
Although many internet users find an integration of the two contents unimaginable, considering that Disney+ is aimed at children and young adults, while Star+ is dedicated to an adult audience, the first signs of integration have already existed for some time.
Disney is maturing part of its content by not only integrating different options into its catalog, such as the Daredevil and Punisher series, previously distributed by Netflix, but also produce its own adult content, such as the Echo series. The production, which is scheduled to premiere on January 10, turned out to be more violent than other Disney/Marveljoining the content that can be accessed according to the indicative classification control of each profile.
Furthermore, the Combo+ offer, in which the consumer can subscribe to both streams for the single price of R$55.90, also a sign of this rapprochement between the two services. Although the value of the combo already exists, it has not yet been announced whether Disney+ will undergo price changes after the integration of Star+ content.
