The first trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion was released this Thursday, February 10, by Universal. The title is a sequel to the franchise started in 2015 by the studio with Jurassic World: World of Dinosaurs and continued in 2018 with Fallen Kingdom.

“When young Maisie is kidnapped by dinosaur smugglers, Owen and Claire set out to find and rescue her, and their journey takes them to a dinosaur habitat operated by a global corporation with a sinister plan… , is being investigated even by Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler.”
The cast of the first two films returns for the third. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return in their roles. Still, the biggest highlight in the film’s cast is Sam Neil and Laura Dern, who reprise their roles after 20 years, when they played Alan Grant and Dr. Ellie in Jurassic Park.
The return of the actors marks the union of the Jurassic World franchise with its predecessor, Jurassic Park. The film also features Jeff Goldblum, who had previously played Dr. Ian Malcon in Fallen Kingdom, although his participation in the story was brief.
The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow, the same filmmaker who directed the first feature in 2015. This time, however, he does not work alone on the script, which is also signed by Emily Carmichael. Michael Giacchino returns to compose the film’s soundtrack after having participated in the two previous productions.
Jurassic World: Dominion opens on June 10 in Brazilian cinemas. More information and new trailers for the film are due out soon.
