Participants in the 24th edition of the reality show will be revealed this Friday (5)
The first quarter of the last 22 years is marked by Big Brother Brazil and, in 2024, it will be no different. The public will meet the participants of the edition in the now traditional “Big Day”, which takes place this Friday (5).
Throughout TV Globo’s programming, Big Day will have flashes between programs and the names will begin to be revealed in the afternoon.
Directly from the house that will be the stage for the three months of reality that starts on Monday (8), Tadeu Schmidt and Ana Clara will be responsible for introducing the participants. Meanwhile, gshow and Globoplay will feature the “Big Day Marathon”, which will bring together presenters and guests to reflect, in real time, on the program’s new participants.
Schmidt also revealed in a press conference that took place this Thursday (4), that only 18 names will be during Big Day and that another 14 names will be revealed on Sunday’s Fantético. According to the presenter, the latter will enter into a type of open vote and the public will have to choose a man and a woman to enter the house.
Still during the interview, he also said that on the first day of the reality show, participants will choose three more men and three women to join the cast in a dynamic that will take place live.
In total, the 24th edition of the reality show will have 26 participants.

The 24th edition of Big Brother Brasil sold all sponsorship quotas and broke the record for brands that will be present in the “most watched house in Brazil”.
In total, the reality show will feature 15 brands divided into four quotas. In addition to the newcomers, the program will continue to feature Ademicon, Amstel, Chevrolet, Downy, Esportes da Sorte, Hypera Pharma, Mc Donald’s, Mercado Livre, Pantene, Rexona, Seara and Stone.
This year, BBB24 will also feature brands linked to dynamics, such as Delcia and Nestl in “T na mesa”, Oi in “Cine BBB” and Kwai in “Turbinada do lder”.
“The high rate of renewals and new brands that chose to sponsor the program highlights the relevance of “BBB”, both for the public and for brands”, declared Manzar Feres, director of integrated advertising businesses at Globo.

In addition to the program’s traditional activities such as Discord Day, tests and parties, this year’s Big Brother Brasil will also feature some new features for the public.
In voting, viewers will be able to participate in the decision in two ways: either through the Fan Vote or through the Single Vote (linked to the CPF). According to the publication made on the BBB profile on Instagram, each voting model will have a weight of 50% and the final result will be the weighted average of the two formats.
Furthermore, another new feature is that the game will be divided into two stages. In the first, the public must vote for who they want to stay in the house, in the second, the vote will be to eliminate.
Another novelty was the departure of Paulo Vieira and Dani Calabresa from the program. While Vieira ran Big Terapia on Wednesdays, Dani presented CAT BBB on Tuesdays.
On the other hand, Globo announced the names that will become part of the reality show: Luis Miranda and Marcos Veras, who will lead the attractions “Big Babado” and “Vamo Invadir Sua Casa”, respectively.
As for the brothers and sisters who will participate in the program, Boninho revealed that the house now has an extra room, totaling four and Tadeu Schmidt also revealed that the edition will have a false wall and punishment for wasting water.
