Shein announced the launch of a collection focused on Brazilian carnival that features pieces produced in Brazil and curated by singer and songwriter Anitta, who has already launched a clothing collection with the brand on another occasion.
In addition to the collection, Shein will also be one of the sponsoring brands of Anitta’s Carnival Rehearsals, which will take place in ten Brazilian cities between January and February. During performances, the singer will only wear looks signed by the brand.
The pieces were inspired by street carnival groups and use classic seasonal materials such as tulle, sequins, transparency and shine. In total, the collection has 85 pieces and sizes ranging from P to G4.
“We are committed to making fashionable beauty accessible to everyone, which is why we developed a measurement chart according to the Brazilian body for local production,” said Fabiana Magalhes, director of Local Production at Shein Brasil.
