On the afternoon of this Monday (8), the Record News reported a change in the broadcaster’s presidency. From this month onwards, Anderson Souza, who has 24 years of experience at Record, will take on the role.
Souza is a business administrator and has served as superintendent director of Rede Mulher; executive director of the extinct Record Florianpolis; and executive director of TV Cabrlia, in Itabuna (BA). For 16 years he worked in Rio de Janeiro, at Record’s television drama center, first as production director and then, for 11 years, heading the television drama department. Recently, he held the general management of Record So José do Rio Preto.
Record News has been on air for 16 years. Launched on September 27, 2007, the broadcaster is the only open news TV network in the country, with the mission of being part of the daily lives of Brazilians, providing relevant, quality and credible information, helping to form public opinion. Currently, it is also available on pay TV and on various platforms, such as YouTube and Play Plus.
