The second episode of the program PLACAR Negocios by Adnews, shown on YouTube, brought Renata Porto, CEO of zMatch, as a guest. Renata, who has more than 20 years of experience in Communication and Marketing, shared the business opportunities that the company saw in the sports world.
With an extensive professional history, including consultancies, producers and agencies, Renata Porto served renowned clients, including Johnson & Johnson, Oi, Terra, ESPN, Natura, Mars, Bayer and many others. Throughout her career, she held prominent positions, such as director of service and planning at Naked and partner at Malagueta, a strategy and innovation consultancy.
Currently, as Co-CEO of zMatch, the executive leads a company specializing in electric and hybrid car rental plans. When asked about the purpose of zMatch and its work, Renata highlighted the company’s importance in the automotive sector, especially with new forms of consumption. She shared details about the company’s work, involving the investment community, marketing strategies, events and its participation in sports partnerships, such as the recent Sertes Bike, which sees more women competing.
Renata also discussed zMatch’s choice to invest in sport, especially in sports that involve women. She mentioned previous partnerships, such as the collaboration with athlete Malu Mendes, Brazilian adapted surfing champion, highlighting the company’s commitment to supporting women’s sport and the specific strategies adopted in this context.
Regarding the female presence in leadership, Renata highlighted the importance of women occupying prominent spaces and how this influences decision-making, especially in areas where men traditionally predominate. Furthermore, she addressed the difficulties faced by women in management and negotiation, highlighting the different conditions that are often imposed.
