Tournament, which has Senegal as the current champion, starts next Saturday (13)
Band broadcasts, exclusively on open TV, the African Cup of Nations, which this year takes place in Ivory Coast. Twenty-four teams will fight for the cup.
The premiere takes place this Saturday (13), at 5pm, during the clash between Ivory Coast and Guinea-Bissau, which will air on Bandplay, Band.com.br and YouTube. Narrated by Eduardo Castro, with analyzes by Souza, Luis Fernando Filho and Gabriela Santos.
The first TV broadcast is scheduled for Sunday (14), at 1:45 pm, when Egypt faces Moambique. Pedro Martelli narrates the match, with comments from Eduardo Castro and Ronaldo Giovanelli.
On the same date, the channel will show the duel between Ghana and Cape Verde live from 4:45 pm. The clash will be narrated by Ivan Bruno, with comments by Rafael Oliveira and Velloso.
The final will air on open TV on February 11th.
The current champion of the tournament is Senegal, who won the shootout against Egypt in 2022. The new competition would initially take place from June 23 to July 23, 2023, but had to be postponed due to torrential rains in the country.
