gshow celebrated its first decade this Thursday (11) with some new features for the public, such as expanded content and new formats such as TV and podcasts.
As part of the celebrations, the portal announced that it is expanding its offer of short videos, opinionated content and productions in collaborations with other platforms in the Globo ecosystem.
“We offer pop culture lovers a product with a wide scope. In recent years, we have expanded our operations to other territories, involving the production of content on topics such as fashion, streaming, cinema, in addition to covering music festivals, such as Rock in Rio , Lollapalooza and The Town, and pop culture events. We are where the consumer is, investing increasingly in multiplatform and interactive offerings”, said Patrcia Fontes, Head of Digital Entertainment at gshow.
Some of the portal’s new features are already available, such as ‘Mesacast BBB’, which brings together a team of influencers and local talents daily to comment on the latest events on BBB 24.
“Mesacast is a good example of this collab delivery, which integrates several distribution windows, such as gshow, Globoplay and Multishow, in a 360 delivery, with dynamic, opinionated content and direct audience interaction. After it goes live, the content is still is transformed into pills with wide distribution on social networks. It is the materialization of our multiplatform evolution and symbolizes our look to the future”, added the executive.
In addition, the portal also launched a commemorative logo for the date and brought a program that featured curated content.
Throughout the week, the public will be able to remember notable coverage, such as the meme ‘Cabeleleila Leila’, which emerged from the program ‘Sterblitch No Tem Um Talk Show: o Talk Show’; the digital case of Vivi Guedes, which offered a transmedia experience with the soap opera ‘A Dona do Pedao’ (2019) through the creation of a social profile on Instagram for the influencer played by Paolla Oliveira and a retrospective on the history of gshow.
