Podcast with over 100 episodes will cover unknown moments in the history of the Hill Giant.
Scheduled to launch this month, theVasco da Gama have your own story told in a serial podcast of 104 episodes. The series, which is being produced by BKR, will bring never before revealed facts about the football team, including details about Portuguese culture in Rio de Janeiro and social struggles.
Directed by Beto Estrada, co-CEO of BKR, and Viviana Bagnis, customer service director at BKR, the podcast is being developed through the state law that allows companies to sponsor cultural projects in Rio de Janeiro with part of the ICMS (Tax on Circulation of Goods and Provision of Services). Furthermore, the series has the support of the State Government, the State Secretariat of Culture and sponsorship from TIM
Beto Estrada commented on the challenge proposed by Rogrio Portugal, Vasco’s marketing consultant and creator of the project, highlighting his pride in digitizing and making the legacy of more than 100 years of the club’s history accessible to fans and society in general.
In parallel, Vasco’s vice-president of marketing, Francisco Kronemberger, emphasized the club’s gigantism, not only in sporting achievements, but also in its historic fight for inclusion and equality.

The podcast, produced based on extensive research into the records of the club’s memorial center, is a valuable legacy for fans, showing real and official facts. Thiago Arajo will be the presenter of the program, with appearances by Walmer Peres, Vasco’s main historian, Bruno Pagano, consultant historian, and other guests linked to the team, such as some players.
Viviana Bagnis concluded by highlighting that the podcast will be a gift for Vasco people and football lovers, highlighting Vasco’s fight against racism and the emphasis on the issues that really matter.
