Luiz Sanches was promoted to CCO of multinational accounts at BBDO, the agency announced this Monday (15). From now on, the executive will work globally within the network, taking charge of the creative management of its global accounts. In parallel, he also remains a partner and chairman of AlmapBBDO.
In April 2022, Luiz Sanches took over as CCO for BBDO North America.
In his new position, Sanches continues to be based in the United States, at BBDO Worldwide headquarters in New York – working directly with the Chief Creative Officer until BBDO Worldwide, David Lubars.
According to the agency, the promotion translates into leading the creative command of a team of dedicated professionals for the network’s multinational brands, such as PepsiCo, Meta, WhatsApp, Bayer, Mars, among others.
In addition to the move, Chris Beresford-Hill, who was president of Ogilvy North America Advertising, takes on the role of CCO at BBDO Américas.
Luiz Sanches started at AlmapBBDO, where he has been for almost 30 years and was promoted to CEO in 2015.
