Unit stays under the VML umbrella
WPP announced this Tuesday (23) that it expanded its relationship with Telefónica in Latin America, following a competition process. Therefore, the group created a hub that will exclusively take care of the account.
Called the Blue Spark Partnership, the new operating model will be under the umbrella of the newly formed VML, launched in October last year after the merger of Wunderman Thompson and VMLY&R.
Blue Spark will operate in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela and comprise four strategy centers, social media, owned media and commercial media.
The Telefónica hub was created by John Lynn of VML and will be led by WPP global client leader, Sebas Muriel.
