Partnership aims to strengthen the brand’s commitment to the game’s fans
KitKat announced the renewal of the sponsorship agreement with the Brazilian League of Legends Championship (CBLOL). 2024 will be the fourth year that the brand will be present at the Riot Games event.
The partnership aims to strengthen KitKat’s commitment to game fans, called “Gamebreakers”, in addition to consolidating the brand’s presence in the Esports universe.
Everything we do at Riot Games is community-oriented, and the support of partners who share this same vision is fundamental to completing the game experience and expanding the connection with the player. The renewal of this partnership with KitKat strengthens our ecosystem and shows how games and their competitive scenarios are deeply embedded in people’s daily lives, said Diego Martinez, general manager of Riot Games.
This year, KitKat will be present in both moments of the championship, providing an immersion in the snack universe. The first split started in So Paulo on January 20th and runs until April 20th, while the second split is scheduled to start in June and run until September.
“Since the brand’s entry into the gaming universe in 2020, our objective goes beyond providing unique experiences to gamers. KitKat wants to highlight the importance of fans, community and shared fun. Thus, we begin another year of partnership with CBLOL to make public interaction unique, always offering the best break”, added Tatianna Perri, head of Marketing at KitKat.
