A Ogilvy Brasil announces an important new addition to its team: Rafael Donato takes over as Chief Creative Officer of the agency. Considered one of the most renowned creative professionals of the new generation, Donato built his career in agencies in Brazil, Europe and the United States. In his career, he worked at Gray London, Ogilvy between 2008 and 2016; This is the period in which Ogilvy So Paulo won the Lion for Agency of The Year in Cannes (2013), and he also has a relevant stint at DAVID So Paulo, between 2016 and 2020. In the last 3 years, he served as CCO of the DAVID office in Miami , winning notable awards and new clients for the agency.
Donato begins his activities as CCO of Ogilvy Brasil in March, reporting directly to CEO Fernando Musa.

During his career, Donato received important recognition. His creative leadership at DAVID Miami, for example, helped the agency reach the top of the WARC rankings, as the most awarded in the world. In addition to several success stories: among them the ‘Corona Sunbrew’ campaigns, which won a Lion at Cannes; ‘Burger Keep It Real Meals’; ‘Android #GetTheMessage’, ‘Dove Injectable Billboard’, among other cases for clients such as: Mondelez and Netflix.
Donato was nominated as Creative Personality of the Year in 2019, according to evaluations carried out by the two main advertising channels in Brazil, gathering votes from journalists, advertisers and advertisers. Still in 2019, he competed for the Cabor Award (Meio & Mensagem), as Creative Professional of the Year. Donato also served on the Cannes Lions 2019 jury in the Direct category and on the US EFFIE jury in 2022, among other awards.
