Pieces were produced by the brand’s creative community, called All Stars, and present the collection focused on the date
Converse announced the launch of its collection that celebrates the arrival of Carnival with a campaign “Carnival of (who) Creates”, which seeks to highlight the creativity and authorship of the artistic expression movements present at the party.
For the piece, the brand counted on a team from its artistic community, called All Star, to create both the communication and the theme song. Whitney Marjori, Kalef Castro and Nicolas Lee immersed themselves for two weeks and produced the song “EmBrasa”.
The idea was to bring each person’s influences and inspirations into the theme, imagining what the party would be like from different personal perspectives, both sonically and visually.
Converse’s narrative for Carnival is completed with the presence of Olivia Ribeiro and Stephany Alves, who joined the other three artists from the creative community in the brand’s actions for the date, developing the ideas, between visual conception and scenes, of the campaign video , starring the five artists.
The sneakers in this year’s collection are the Chuck Taylor All Star Carnaval Black, Chuck Taylor All Star Move Carnaval White, Chuck Taylor All Star Lift Carnaval Black, Chuck 70 Carnaval White and the Chuck 70 Plus Carnaval White, all featuring an iconography that refers to street parties of that time.
