Juno still depends on approval from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense
The merger between Arezzo and Grupo Soma was confirmed this Monday (5), which will create a company in the fashion sector whose revenue should reach R$12 billion. The information was disclosed through a relevant fact.
The new company will be jointly led by the shareholders of Arezzo&Co and Grupo Soma. The CEO will be Alexandre Birman and Roberto Luiz Jatahy Gonalves will be the CEO of the women’s clothing business unit. Rony Meisler will remain as CEO of the AR&Co unit and Thiago Hering will continue as CEO of the Hering unit.
As a result of the merger, the new company will have vertical drafts and bags; women’s clothing and lifestyle; men’s clothing and lifestyle; and democratic clothing.
According to the relevant fact, the completion of the operation now depends on approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade).
