In 2023, a Disney celebrated 100 years of existence and, to commemorate this milestone, presented its new film, which explores the fundamental values that Walt Disney defended during his leadership of the company: the creation of an enchanted world where all dreams come true.

The Show of Life and Desires!
On January 7th, the Sunday after its premiere in theaters, a special feature on Wish was aired: The Power of Wishes in the Fantastic! Disney invited the program from Rede Globo to Los Angeles, between November 8th and 10th, where they participated in The Walt Disney Company’s global animation premiere.
Furthermore, Show da Vida interviewed the film’s team, such as directors Fawn Veerasunthorn and Chris Buck, screenwriter and executive producer Jennifer Lee, and producers Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones and Peter Del Vecho, as well as renowned actor Chris Pine, voice actor for the character Magnificent King, complementing the article that also mentions the 100 years of The Walt Disney Company, completed in 2023.
In addition to Fantstico, they also traveled to the premiere in the United States and interviewed the influencer Dear Maidy, who has more than 1.7 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, and the DitoCinema portal, one of the largest entertainment portals in the world. Brazil.

Virtually, the Wish: The Power of Desire team, made up of Jennifer Lee, Fawn Veerasunthorn, Chris Buck, Juan Pablo Reyes and Peter Del Vecho, split up to give interviews to different Brazilian media outlets at the invitation of local Disney.
They spoke with the producers and directors of vehicles aimed at parents and children, such as Recreio and Crescer; entertainment such as BuzzFeed, Omelete and CinePop and major press such as Veja.
The Brazilian in Wish: The Power of Wishes
Working at The Walt Disney Company for over 16 years, Brazilian Renato dos Anjos worked on Wish: The Power of Wishes as animation supervisor for the character King Magnifico, bringing a Brazilian twist to the new studio animation.
Renato, who worked on other films such as Zootopia (2016) and Moana Um Mar de Aventuras (2016), gave interviews, organized by Disney do Brasil’s PR team, to major media outlets such as Metrpoles, SBT, Folha de S. Paulo, This, Superinteressante and Canaltech.
Other Brazilians who gave press interviews were the renowned singer Alcione for SBT, Claudia, Rolling Stone, I Have More Discs Than Friends!, Almanaque Disney, Lofficiel and Revista Raa, and the presenter Marcelo Adnet for UOL Splash, Veja, Omelete and BuzzFeed, both being part of the film’s national dubbing cast, as the characters Má and Valentino, respectively.
Other names that are part of the selection of national animation voice actors are Luci Salutes (Asha), Raphael Rossatto (Magnificent King), Shallana Costa (Queen Amaya), among others. Artists such as Di Ferrero, Solange Almeida, Evelyn Castro and Xande de Pilares make special appearances in the song Voc Uma Estrela.
Wish: The Power of Wishes at the Sephora Ball
On October 11th, the traditional Sephora Ball took place at the Hotel Gran Hyatt, in So Paulo, where, at the invitation of Disney, in partnership with the makeup artist, influencer and ambassador of Wish: The Power of Wishes in Brazil Bruna Tavares, the Actress Clara Moneke attended with an exclusive look inspired by Asha, protagonist of Wish.
Seeking to bring the character’s full representation to the event, Clara attended the event together with Bruna, wearing the dress designed by designer Hel Rocha.
Speaking of Bruna Tavares, the influencer will soon launch her exclusive makeup line inspired by Wish: The Power of Wishes.
Pre-premiere with O Boticrio
Seeking to promote the premiere of Wish: The Power of Wishes in Brazil, Disney and The Apothecary came together to hold a magical premiere of the film on December 9th in So Paulo, at Shopping Eldorado.
The special session was attended by more than 1,500 journalists, influencers and celebrities invited by Disney. Names such as Bruno Gagliasso, Giovanna Ewbank, Pedro Bial, Juliana Alves, among others, attended the event.
The premiere also had several interactive activities for children and adults, such as a place to take special photos of Wish: The Power of Wishes and a panel so that those present could write their own wishes.
Furthermore, the partnership between the two brands also extended to products from O Boticário, which launched exclusive items from the film’s Sophie line, such as a glitter lotion, a cologne, a lip gloss, as well as a makeup brush kit and a palette of shadows.

Disney’s partnership to launch Wish: The Power of Wishes also happened with other brands, such as Mattel, Sunny and Lego who released dolls and other toys from the film and Funko Pop! who launched a line of his famous miniatures of the animation characters.
In the school line, DAC and Xerius launched notebooks, backpacks, lunch boxes and other materials from the new film from The Walt Disney Studios.
Leilo Make-A-Wish
A Make-A-Wish Brasil, an organization dedicated to making the dreams of children with illnesses that put their lives at risk come true, will hold, on February 1, an online charity auction with the support of Disney in Brazil. Celebrating the company’s more than 40-year global partnership, and its commitment to inspiring a better world through the power of stories, the action reflects the spirit of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ new film, Wish, released in beginning of January, which invites audiences to follow what they deeply desire
The amount raised in the auction, which brings together items and experiences inspired by the film, will go towards Make-A-Wish’s mission
Brazil, which managed to make 268 dreams come true in 2023 alone. In addition to being an opportunity for new people to learn about our work, this auction has a special touch. Wish – The Power of Wishes brings a very important message: how admirable it is to believe in our dreams and make them come true, says Thais Bernardini, executive director of the organization.
The charity auction will take place on the Sodr Santoro website, an organization of in-person and online auctions in Latin America. The official auctioneer of the initiative will be Carolina Sodr Santoro who, alongside her sister Mariana, leads the As Leiloeiras platform and represents the third generation of the family in the sector. The initiative will offer the following items and experiences:
- A dress inspired by the film and made by designer Hel Rocha, responsible for dressing famous personalities;
- Five posters from the film, each autographed by their respective names: the singers Di Ferrero, Xande de Pilares and Solange Almeida, the presenter and comedian Marcelo Adnet and the voice actress for the protagonist Asha, Luci Salutes;
- Two screenings of the film, each for 40 people, held at the Disney Brazil cinema, with the presence of the animation’s voice actors;
- Two dubbing experiences relating to the film, each lasting 1 hour, with the presence of dubbing professionals to direct the scene;
- A day at BT LAB to develop an exclusive lipstick color alongside businesswoman and influencer Bruna Tavares, who also launched a special makeup line for the film.
All experiences will be carried out in São Paulo and must be scheduled in advance during the year 2024. Any costs with transportation, accommodation and food are the responsibility of the successful bidder. Auction information can be checked here.
