For the second year in a row, Duolingo will be at Carnival blocks in São Paulo to enjoy Carnival and charge students to do the lessons. Last year, after Duo visited the blocks with Wandinha and Duollynho costumes, the brand noticed that the number of active Brazilian users increased during the party period.
With different and even more beautiful costumes, the Duo will make surprise appearances in São Paulo’s newsrooms on the 10th and 11th of February, motivating students to study with unusual giant notifications. The route and chosen blocks will be published on the app’s social networks.
“Duolingo has already become a reference when it comes to commitment to its students. Therefore, with the success of retaining users during one of the most important cultural moments in the country in 2023, we intend to once again take the little owl Duo to the festivities and guarantee that our students do their lessons and don’t lose their offensives”, said Analigia Martins, marketing director at Duolingo in Brazil.
