O CNAone of the largest language teaching networks in Brazil, presents ‘CNA Gaming Exchange’, the first project it offers, through one of the largest and most popular games of the world, the Fortnitea cultural exchange experience for those who want to learn English practically, experiencing the dream of an international trip without leaving their gaming chair.
The initiative, which saw the creation of the agency Tech&Soul, open to everyone, students or those outside the network, and takes place within the universe of Fortnite, a game that is free to access through various platforms and which has recorded numerous access records. In the month of November 2023 alone, more than 100 million players were connected around the world, according to data from Epic Gamesdeveloper of Fortnite.
Going beyond the traditional universe of the game, the CNA now has its own map, which in Brazil is one of the largest ever built for activating a brand within the universe of the game to date, offering a journey that simulates the student’s exchange to the United States, going through the most different processes, from practical immigration to work and tourism in cities like New York and Los Angeles on the map. The platform will also allow contact with the native-speaking population, since foreign users will also be invited and have access to the ‘CNA Gaming Exchange’, interacting and helping Brazilians during their double challenge, which consists of solving missions and, at the same time, time, do all this in English.
The server with the map and challenges are now available for public access for free in Brazil and around the world. To carry out the digital exchange, simply access the Fortnite game and search for the CNA server. The code to access the CNA map directly is 8157-6016-0263.
The game is 100% in English and begins on CNA Island, a reproduction of a network school where the player has access to three exclusive map options. The first one is at an airport, where you have to go through mini games inspired by the immigration process and the search for luggage. Next, the map inspired by New York requires you to perform tasks such as driving a taxi and preparing pizzas to earn money in the city. game, the CNA Dollar, a fundamental item for the player to continue his journey. On the last map, the game brings challenges linked to tourist programs in the city of Los Angeles, passing through the iconic Hollywood sign and the Santa Monica perch.
In addition to being the first exchange experience designed and developed in a game, according to the language network, the ‘CNA Gaming Exchange’ presents one of the largest maps ever developed for activating a brand within Fortnite. The development of the scenario was carried out in partnership with the Brazilian company DBM2, specialized in the industry gamer.
Community reinforcement
For the official launch of the project, CNA promoted an unprecedented live interaction with Brazilian influencers Malena and Patriota, who together have more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram, debuting the map alongside Rufless Cat and Klutchshot, American streamers popular in the Fortnite community, in addition to the participation of six students from the CNA network in this game’s debut. Together, they had to go through all the challenges proposed on each of the three maps, inviting the community to also access the game.
