The NFL announced the launch of a campaign that aims to honor the diverse and inclusive spirit of American football, entitled “Born to Play”.
The piece, produced by Effect Sport and presented during the Super Bowl, also celebrates the fact that sport acts as a dream come true for those who play and highlights the increase in practice of the sport around the world, especially in Brazil and Africa. .
“We traveled across the vastness of Brazil to show how American football is played here, in different places and different cultures. We will show everything from young people playing in Rocinha, one of the largest favelas in the country, to the sport being played by a women’s team in Manaus. A a true in-depth panel on sport in the country”, explained Marcelo Paiva, director of content and media at Effect Sport.
The campaign will feature a series of four episodes that will present the game on national soil, showing the motivation and dreams of Brazilian athletes, visiting four remote stages in different regions such as Manaus, Recife, Belo Horizonte and the community of Rocinha, in Rio de Janeiro.
The sequence of content will begin to be shown on NFL Brasil’s social media platforms from this Wednesday (21st), with the first episode of the series airing at 6pm on Friday (23rd).
