Tinder and Instituto Caramelo come together to encourage adoption

Partnership will connect users and the organization through interactions in the relationship application

Tinder has announced a partnership with Instituto Caramelo and will introduce the NGO to app users and potentially help them find their future furry friend.

The action will take place until March 19th, as soon as the user interacts with the NGO’s profile on the application, they will be connected to the organization.

As part of this initiative, Instituto Caramelo launched the first episode of “Caramelo Visita” on its Instagram, a series where the organization visits people who adopted their pets. The debut episode tells the story of a couple who met by coincidence on Tinder.

The partnership was based on the information that “dog” is one of the 10 most popular interests added to Tinder profiles around the world. Furthermore, a survey also found that 60% of people say they are more tempted to match with people who have dogs in their profile photos on the app.
