A Riachueloone of the largest fashion retailers in Brazil, celebrates at the beginning of 2024 an important indicator in relation to the concern of its more than 30 thousand employees with health and self-care: based on its partnership with the Gym sessionthe company celebrates more than 5 thousand active Rchlovers on the well-being platform, a number that continues to grow.
According to Rafael Augusto Tamasauskas Torres, Health and Wellbeing Manager at Riachuelo, Gympass’ differentiators are the quality and capillarity of the network of partner gyms and studios, in addition to the variety of options for all profiles and a continuous service strategy to the client.
To further encourage adoptions, the retailer also carries out internal engagement actions: In a single engagement action carried out last September, we had more than 70% of all engagement obtained in the previous solution in the three years of the contract, celebrates Torres.
This partnership is important within the umbrella of the company’s Abraamos Voc program, focused on the health and well-being of all employees, including in shopping malls, street stores, distribution centers and factories. Through the partnership with Gympass, Riachuelo employees and their families have access to a network of 55 thousand gyms and studios in more than 700 activities, including cycling, spinning, swimming, yoga, pilates, beach tennis, football, volleyball, footy , bodybuilding, functional, climbing and dance. Furthermore, the platform also provides access to practices that in other ways contribute to physical and mental health, such as meditation, sleep care, healthy eating, lifestyle, financial organization, among others.

Stories of transformation
Matheus, 28 years old, works in production control at the Riachuelo Factory in Natal (RN). Upon joining the company, in July 2021, he was referred to the Sua Sade program, aimed at employees with chronic conditions. At the time, he had hypertension and obesity.
When Riachuelo started making Gympass available to employees, Matheus was one of the first to join the platform. Since then, he has been able to return to his training routine and discover new gyms and activities. He also started using premium access to MyFitnessPal, available free of charge with his plan, to also take care of his nutrition.
I was an active young man, but when I started working I neglected my activity routine and my diet. I weighed 160kg. His goal is to reach less than 100kg by the end of this year.
Douglas is 36 years old and has been a Compensation Analyst at Riachuelo since July 2019. Like Matheus, he also felt his dedication to work and studies took his focus away from his self-care routine. When his son was born, three years ago, he made the decision to take better care of his health again and started eating healthily and doing weight training.
