The first episode of ‘Inspiring Stories’ was in honor of International Women’s Day, this Sunday (3)
Shopee debuted, this Sunday (3), a painting within the Eliana Program, on SBT. Entitled ‘Inspiring Stories’, the attraction will highlight, on special dates such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, among others, the stories of Brazilian store owners on the platform.
In the first program, the brand told the story of Deise Doria, a woman who, in 2020, saw Shopee as an opportunity to start a business when she found herself in financial difficulties in 2020.
The alternative was to start making garlands made with sousplats to decorate homes and thus raise funds to carry out the solidarity action.
Upon completing the objective, the entrepreneur began to receive demand for other artisanal products. Given this scenario, a friend of Deise, who worked in freight transport, suggested that she use Shopee as a platform to start selling. He noticed the significant increase in deliveries of items sold through the marketplace and saw the platform as an opportunity for his friend.
