After suffering a financial blow, Brazilian YouTuber wins the title for longest continuous transmission time.
On February 26th, the 90-day Live Pica of youtuber Gabriel Oliveira, better known as “MasterReset”, on his channel. This historic marathon began in November and is now preparing to win the title of longest live stream in the world, surpassing the mark currently held by gamer and influencer BarcelloS “PaiZo”, who reached 1,440 hours. The MasterReset live surpassed this feat, ending with an impressive 2,524 hours in length.
The official request for recognition of this feat has already been sent to RankBrasil, the main Brazilian organization responsible for recording records, for the title of longest uninterrupted transmission time. During this incredible journey, the live stream accumulated more than 1 million views.
Over these months, the live followed the YouTuber’s life closely, including chats, interviews with guests and family, as well as various phases of the game “Resident Evil“, focus of the MasterReset channel.
The idea for this unprecedented live arose after the YouTuber shared with his followers a financial blow he suffered. Determined to overcome this moment, he shared the idea of infinite live with the aim of recovering part of the lost resources. The audience’s engagement was so extraordinary that what was initially going to be a 1,000-hour live stream turned into a 90-day marathon. A portion of the funds raised will be used to donate basic food baskets to families in need in the ABC Paulista region, where the influencer currently resides.
