In an interview with Valor Econmico, Paulo Marinho also spoke about investment in influencer marketing
Globo ended 2023 with revenue of R$15.1 billion, as reported by CEO Paulo Marinho, in an interview with Valor Econmico. The value already exceeds the rates before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Still according to the executive, the company has R$14.2 billion in cash.
Marinho said that it is part of the company’s plan to be a mediatech conglomerate, for the implementation of TV 3.0. “The format breaks down the barriers between TV and the digital universe,” the executive told the newspaper.
Furthermore, the broadcaster must make an investment of R$5 billion in technology and content this year.
The CEO of Grupo Globo also said that there will be investments in influencer marketing. He explained that the company will act as a talent agency, which will receive production resources from the company and advertising compensation.
