A Nikein partnership with Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), presents the new collection of the Brazilian National Team, inspired by the nature and culture of the country and its talent for football. The shirts, marked by innovative designs and distinct cultural elements, will take the field in Brazil’s upcoming friendlies against England and Spain.
The design of the new yellow shirt brings the pulsating rhythm of Brazilian music and the exuberance of macaws, in addition to incorporating elements from the iconic landscapes of Sugarloaf Mountain and the country’s famous beaches. Every detail has been carefully crafted to reflect the diversity and beauty of Brazil, referencing some of the country’s natural and cultural heritage, resulting in a rich, immersive textural pattern that captures the vibrant and unique essence of the nation.
The second kit features a pattern inspired by local nature, celebrating the beautiful textures and colors that are synonymous with Brazil, as well as the influence of Joga Bonito on world football. The wave print on the front of the shirt celebrates the country’s famous beaches and coastlines, capturing the curves of Brazilian nature.
On both shirts, the CBF shield returns to the center, just as in the 2004 version. The players’ names are presented in a completely new font, developed from rich Brazilian art and design. Inside the collar, an exclusive emblem bears the inscription ‘Brazil For All’, highlighting the passion, creativity and fun that Brazilian football awakens in all football lovers around the world. From Brazil to Brazil and from Brazil to the World.
High-performance product driven by data and insights
Development for the new collection combines Nike sports science, including rigorous data collection and insights, with comprehensive computational design to create a lightweight, state-of-the-art uniform. The new uniforms use Dri-FIT ADV technology, Nike’s most advanced apparel platform.
The athletes’ sweat and body heat maps were fundamental in designing and structuring Dri-FIT ADV in the uniforms. From these maps and the technology developed, designers were able to engineer the material pixel by pixel to provide precise, ventilated reinforcement that cools the points on the athlete’s body exactly where they are needed most, preventing sweat from hindering players’ performance. in the field.
Sustainable design throughout the football collection
In addition to bringing the best in terms of design, performance and innovation, the uniforms are also made from 100% recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles, reducing waste and impact without compromising the performance of the pieces. Using recycled polyester reduces carbon emissions by up to 30% compared to virgin polyester and helps divert an average of 1 billion plastic bottles from landfills and waterways annually.
The first pieces from the Brazilian National Team 2024 collection will be available in advance to Nike Members on official site from March 21st. On March 27th, the pieces arrive throughout the Brazilian market.
