The feminine care brand, Intimatefrom Kimberly-Clark, came together with Women Force, a consultancy specializing in blockchain and artistic creation, to celebrate Women’s Month with the launch of the ‘Intimus Art Festival’, an initiative that is part of the brand’s global campaign that includes creative expression ‘We didn’t come this far to stop here’.
Following the brand’s purpose of encouraging female progress, whether menstruating or not, the action, created by the PROS agency, will recognize the work of three participants across Brazil, with a prize of R$15,000 in gold bars. The winners will be invited to transform their works into NFTs that will be available for free at the Intimus Art Gallery, within the Festival platform, in addition to having their works published by artists, such as Nathlia Arajo, Di Couto and Amora. Check out the video of the ‘#SentimosOProgresso’ manifesto.
Registration for the Intimus Art Festival can be completed until March 31st. To participate, you need to check all the regulation rules, available on the official site campaign and follow the instructions for registering, in addition to sending the digital illustration. On the landing page, participants can also check out the works by Di Couto and Amora, which are now available for free download in the Intimus gallery.
We are very proud of this initiative and look forward to seeing all the creativity and potential of the artists we have in our Brazil. We aim to encourage the journey of these girls, whether menstruating or not, who speak through art, showing their values to society and portraying stigmas that need to be questioned”, comments Marisa Cazassa, executive Marketing manager at Kimberly-Clark in Brazil.
Contest
The Intimus Art Festival will be divided into two stages. They are: classification, based on popular vote on the arts displayed on the festival’s landing page and Technical Jury, which will evaluate the ten finalist arts and, from these, select three winners who will have their works published by the action’s partners, Nathlia Arajo (@ nanaths), Di Couto (@dicouto_arte) and Amora (@amori.nha), who will also amplify the entire cultural contest, developed by the PROS agency, responsible for PR and curation of Intimus influencers. The media part is handled by FCB Brasil.
We, at PROS, have always seen art as an instrument of change. Based on research, we noticed the lack of representation of women in the area and, therefore, we are creating a project to change this perspective. From this, we created the Intimus Art Festival, with the aim of making digital art an instrument to inspire change, transformation and visibility for young artists and aspiring girls across Brazil, says Maria Claudia Vasconcellos, Creative Director at PROS.
Furthermore, the winners will be invited to transform their art into NFTs, in a special edition, at the Intimus Art Festival Gallery, within the GoBlockchain platform, so that the public can purchase it for free. With each download of the artwork, two Intimus products will be donated to the NGO Plan International, which will distribute the donations to the Leadership School for Girls project, which takes place in five municipalities in Bahia, addresses topics such as education and menstrual hygiene, and questions the stigmata of menstruation.
Intimus’ partnership to carry out this project is an innovative and transformative initiative, as it recognizes the need to create spaces for the promotion and defense of human rights and equal rights for girls and people who menstruate, highlights Cynthia Betti, executive director of Plan International.
Renata Couto Bos, co-founder of Agência Women Force also commented on NFTs.
“By creating unique, personalized artwork and inviting it to be turned into NFTs, we have the opportunity to include and inspire more women to come in and learn about art, technology and digital innovations. We are very proud to have done all the artistic work and development of the website and experience of the Intimus Art Festival, concludes Renata.
