With a focus on effective advertising, that which really works, the Effie Awards América Latina, which is in its ninth edition, aims to encourage, evaluate and reward marketing and advertising strategies launched in the region. With a jury made up of experts who work in Latin America, the work must demonstrate effectiveness in meeting its declared objectives.
All advertising companies, both public and private, can compete for the Effie award, together with their agencies (creative, media, digital, in-house, etc.), with campaigns or communication efforts that have been publicized in Latin American countries. and the Caribbean between December 1, 2022 and June 30, 2024.
As a new feature, in this edition, four categories will be added: Artificial Intelligence, Insurance, Animal Care and Disease Awareness and Education. The jury will be chaired by Claudia Navarro, Vice President of Marketing at Coca-Cola for Latin America. The executive holds her position in San José, Costa Rica, after having worked for the company for 18 years and having worked in markets such as Canada, the United States, Italy, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
“The Effie aspect of marketing effectiveness gives the award much more weight and therefore much more respect from us in the industry. Because of all this, it quickly became aspirational for me,” she commented.
