The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced its new sponsor, XP, which became the first financial brand to sponsor the league in Brazil.
During the agreement, XP will be responsible for offering experiences to fans, promotions and discounts for customers in the country, including the launch of SP credit cards licensed by the NBA.
“XP has been building a solid, long-term relationship with the sport, and is now taking a fundamental step in this journey, to expand the largest basketball league in the world in the country. A sport that is part of the national culture, and, as a brand , helps us reinforce our values of resilience, determination and overcoming the impossible”, said Lisandro Lopez, CMO of XP Inc.
In addition, the company will also engage NBA fans and customers as a partner in official events, in addition to basketball development programs, with actions including NBA House 2024, in conjunction with the 2024 NBA Finals, and Jr. NBA Clinics nationwide. XP will also be featured on NBA social and digital media channels in the country.
