The relationship between sustainability and technology will be the starting point of the conversation that Vivo near na SP-Arte, between the 3rd and 7th of April, at the Biennial pavilion in So Paulo. With 'Razes do Futuro', the brand is inspired by thinkers who have grasped the importance of sustainability in their respective contexts to invite visitors to reflect on the interconnection between people, nature and technology, and how our current actions are the roots of the future.
At the event, Vivo will open its space to welcome civil society institutions linked to environmental issues, such as Instituto Terra, Documenta Pantanal and Associao Onafari, to discuss perspectives and expectations linked to the theme of sustainability. The objective is to show how art and technology can raise people's awareness of socio-environmental issues. Throughout the event, the brand will also promote the correct disposal of electronic waste through the Vivo Recicle program, which in 2023 alone collected 12 tons of electronic waste. Vivo is the most sustainable company in Brazil on the ISE B3, made up of 78 companies from 36 sectors.
Our presence at SP-Arte is always an opportunity to show how art and technology enable dialogues on important contemporary issues. Everything is consistent and aligned with Vivo's positioning, which seeks a more sustainable and inclusive future, comments Marina Daineze, Brand and Communications Director at Vivo.
I live at SP-Arte
This encounter between art, culture and sustainability highlights Vivo's firm position in the search for social transformations driven by technology, a commitment reflected in all projects that reinforce the brand's identity, including the SP-Arte sponsorship.
In the 2021 edition of the fair, Vivo sought to debate black representation in Brazilian art through Telas Pretas, taking works by black artists to 240 brand stores across the country. In 2022, with the Brazilian Indigenous Routes space, the company started an important conversation about the identity of indigenous peoples and their relationship with technology. In 2023, it reinforced its commitment to diversity with Telas do Orgulho.
