With suspicion of a hacker attack, Americanas and Submarino have been offline since dawn this Sunday (20). When accessing the page of the two sites, the ‘DNS failure’ appears.

Americanas SA, which controls the two sites, issued two statements. The first, issued in the early hours of Sunday (20), reported that the company ‘preemptively suspended part of the servers in the e-commerce environment as soon as it identified a risk of unauthorized access’.
The company also said that the sites were back to normal at 3:16 pm yesterday and that it had ‘no evidence of compromised databases’.
In the second statement, Americanas SA said that it ‘proactively resumed suspending part of the e-commerce servers and promptly triggered its response protocols as soon as it identified unauthorized access’.
