The event held at Parque Villa-Lobos will have activities such as live broadcasting of games, shows, gastronomy and sports clinics.
O Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) will run from July 20th to August 11th with an exclusive space dedicated to Paris Olympic Games 2024, the Parque Time Brasil Olympic Festival, at Parque Villa-Lobos in São Paulo. The project, developed by the integrated live marketing solutions agency Deponto and the Brazilian entertainment holding company DC Set Group, will provide the city of São Paulo with an unprecedented Olympic ‘fanfest’ in Brazil. The place will also be the first stop for Brazilian athletes after returning from Paris. And an important reinforcement joins this team: Smart Fit presents itself today as the project’s newest sponsor.
“The Parque Time Brasil project is the biggest initiative among the entire COB strategy designed for this cycle, in terms of connecting with fans and practitioners of Olympic sports. Due to its originality, the opportunity to provide a unique and complete experience for our target audience, we chose the best location among all the options. Having one of our main sponsors activating together with us also achieves one of the main objectives when we launch our sponsorship program, which is to have more activation opportunities for the brands that support us in the Olympic Movement”, says Gustavo Herbetta, Marketing Director at Comite Olympic Games in Brazil.
Simulating an Olympic Village, Parque Time Brasil aims to connect fans, fans and sports practitioners in a place dedicated to Olympic sports during the Olympic Games period. There will be 23 days of programming, where the organization expects to receive around 1.5 million people, with 12 hours a day of attractions divided into eight sports clinics, a stage for shows and activities, in addition to other actions such as official broadcast of the competitions.
“In this unprecedented space, we will promote a meeting far beyond sport, with music, styles and dances that will connect. Therefore, the preparation of the project is carefully curated, respecting the peculiarities of each audience, exalting sport and culture. We will celebrate the union of unique experiences, inviting the population to discover and practice different sports through activities and activations spread throughout the Festival. We have a project that transcends the Olympic period, values sport as a transformative agent and leaves an important legacy for the entire population.”, highlights Daniel Azevedo, partner at Deponto Agência, organizer of the event.
The schedule of activities also includes special moments such as the broadcast of the Games Opening Ceremony with dedicated programming, moments of interaction with athletes and sports personalities within the environments, and sponsor activations, such as the daily Smart Fit classes.
The head of marketing at Smart Fit Brasil, Guilherme Costa, comments that Parque Time Brasil is an expansion of the Olympic experience to encourage the spread of physical activity in the city. According to him, Smart Fit has a direct connection with sports and they are proud to be the official gym of the Brazil team.
“We are working intensely to unite everything that the Olympic Games and Team Brazil represent: a moment of unity, of fans, of diversity. All of these characteristics are being covered in the Park, from an extensive program focused on the importance of practicing sports from an early age, with sports clinics; shows with different artists representing Brazil from north to south; and the celebration of different nations in presentations that will combine culture and gastronomy. And all in an open space that is Parque Villa-Lobos, which invites the public to celebrate the Olympic spirit as a community”, comments Camila Bahia, head of sports at DC Set Group, organizer of the event.
In total, the event will explore an area of more than 30 thousand m2 of Parque Villa-Lobos, and will be divided into different actions:
Arena Team Brasil
Arena Time Brasil is the space that concentrates activities, such as live broadcasting of games, mega shows, gastronomy with Brazilian and international flavors and various actions. The Arena will also be the stage for the athletes. When they return from Paris, this will be the first place to receive them, when they will be able to give interviews in the Canal Olímpico do Brasil studio dedicated for broadcast, and have contact with the public.
Sports Clinics
Using the park’s sports equipment and courts, there will be eight sports clinics signed by the Brazilian sports elite: Athletics, Basketball (Janeth), Breaking, Futsal (Falcão), Judo (Flávio Canto), Skateboard (Sandro Dias), Tennis, and Volleyball (Serginho). The clinics aim to encourage the transformation of lives through sport, and will leave the park and its visitors with revitalized spaces suitable for the most diverse sporting practices.
Cultural Festival of Nations
A meeting of music, styles and dances that will connect far beyond sport. The festival will be carefully curated, respecting the peculiarities of each people, exalting the cultures of the countries with circus, theatrical and musical performances.

Meeting Area (VIP Area/ Talks&Meet&Greet)
Action known in English as Meet&Greet, the space will be like a VIP area, which will welcome athletes and former athletes for various activities, such as free lectures or workshops.
