The “Olhares” project presents two stories told through video clips that address ableism (prejudice against people with disabilities), created by Gabe Maruyama.
“Our history shows that the way society views people with disabilities directly impacts their social experiences, including romantic ones. The film brings several symbols, and the strong dialogues are inspired by real stories”, said Gabe, the first PwD scene director in Brazil, who, in addition to creating and directing the project, acted in the first music video, “A Chuva Vai Descer”.
