To warm up the engines, or better said, turn on the speakers, Rock World prepared a live preview of what’s to come at this year’s Rock in Rio Academy, scheduled for September 17th, between the days of the event, which will take place on the 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd. Adnews was present at the broadcast and is here to bring the highlights of what Rock World’s Marketing Director, Ana Deccache, commented on the topic “How a brand remains relevant over 40 years: the story of Rock in Rio”.
“Rock in Rio is not only a music festival, but also an experience platform. People go to the event not just for the music, but to live the best day of their lives […] When we think about Rock in Rio, we think about how to make the fan the center of the narrative and experiences”, said the executive.
The Marketing Director explained how Rock in Rio has, since its creation, been following social movements and transformations, with a priority for the event always impacting people beyond music and providing a valuable purpose to the festival. Furthermore, she highlighted as two essential topics the importance of the relationship with the fan and always being in tune with what they want, and the internal alignment of the different visions of the company’s sectors regarding the event.
“Be consistent with your value proposition, have a clear purpose, never forget that we exist because of someone on the other end, in this case, the star, and the collaborators”, said Ana to explain what makes the Rock in brand Rio has remained relevant throughout its 40 years of existence.
This year’s Rock in Rio Academy will last 12 hours and will offer dialogues and teachings about what is behind the festival’s success. Approximately 500 people are expected, including entrepreneurs, executives and even fans of the event, to be trained through the Live Case Study methodology, which so far this year has trained more than 3,600 executives and includes practices, content study online and experience a full day at Rock in Rio.
For this edition, in addition to the executive, the Talent director, Vanessa Olímpia, the CEO, Luis Justo, the founder and president of Provoke Edutainment Club, Agatha Arêas, the co-founder of Provoke, Marco Ravela, the director of HSM products, Thais Tosetto, and nine other names who will lead lectures on entrepreneurship and leadership from 8am to 10pm, in Cidade do Rock, located in Rio de Janeiro.
Those interested in experiencing this experience have a big challenge ahead: the high price. To obtain only the Standard package, which includes, in addition to Rock in Rio Academy, a ticket for one day of the festival, which could be the 19th, 20th, 21st or 22nd (subject to availability), the cost is R$4,985. The VIP package, which includes a VIP ticket for the same dates mentioned above, accredited access, lunch with Rock World executives and a kit with personalized items, costs R$7,560.
