With cutting-edge technology, an immersive narrative and stunning scenery, the exhibition “Tutankhamun, an immersive experience”, the largest digital and immersive experience in the country, has reached the impressive mark of more than 40 thousand visitors since its debut on January 19, highlighting proved to be an undeniable success and captivating the most diverse audiences.
The success of the exhibition is attributed not only to its theme, but also to the innovative use of the metaverse and immersive technologies, which provide a unique experience for visitors. The interactive way in which the visitor relates to the exhibition allows the experience to be very active in the visitors’ memory. This interaction is even more remarkable because it is the first time that people can practically and collectively experience a metaverse environment in Brazil.
The exhibition takes the visitor on a dive into the past, which is only possible due to the technologies used to assemble the exhibition. In an immersive room, the visitor is transported to ancient Egypt with 360° projections in 4K quality.
The exhibition “Tutankhamun, an immersive experience” has a strategic partnership with Panasonic, market leader in advanced projection technology. Panasonic brings state-of-the-art projectors to the exhibition, with 4K resolution and high brightness, which guarantee clear images, rich in colors and details, revitalizing history before our eyes.

In another room, it is possible to discover your Egyptian soul with the help of artificial technology. The immersions don’t stop there. Using state-of-the-art virtual reality glasses, visitors take a trip to the underworld. Here, the experience becomes a visceral and sensorial journey. The virtual reality film allows visitors to imagine themselves in the shoes of Tutankhamun’s soul, traversing the underworld on an odyssey of challenges and trials. It is an immersive journey that illustrates the beliefs and rituals associated with the Egyptian afterlife.
To top it off, a revolutionary, highly technological space was created to take you through the Valley of the Kings. Here the exhibition redefines the limits of virtual reality technology, offering participants access to a state-of-the-art metaverse.
In total, the visitor will pass through seven different rooms that, in addition to a lot of technology and innovation, will touch many of the senses. The exhibition really takes the visitor through a dive into the past.
According to the organizers, in addition to providing entertainment for a wide range of audiences, the exhibition is also an important point of contact for knowledge about the history of the pharaoh who gives the exhibition its name.
