Fulfilling the dreams of children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses is the NGO’s mission Make-A-Wish Brasil and publicist Marcela Pagano, who after two years coordinating BloominDay, a project carried out in partnership with Outback with the NGO, where all Blooming Onion sales are used to make dreams come true.
Marcela is now responsible for ‘Special Projects’ at Make-A-Wish Brasil, of which there will be many this year. Welma, as some know her, is also the creator of the Oráculo project with Luana Piovani, which proposes meetings for women to exchange information, well-being and support.
This month, Make-A-Wish International celebrates World Dream Month with several actions spread across the world. And here in Brazil, Marcela and the wishmakers are preparing a very special afternoon with the support of Roda Rico at Parque Villa Lobos.
Before falling in love and working with social projects, Marcela worked at the biggest agencies in Brazil, such as W/Brasil, DM9BDDB, DPZ, Lew, Lara, and is very proud to say that she worked side by side with the old guard of advertising such as Washington Olivetto , Nizan Guanaes, and the small but no less important, Cucumber Propaganda, where he took care of communications for the Instituto Liberta, which combats child sexual violence.
Marcela believes that good advertising is one that has a purpose and that a good idea is only good when it is good for everyone. Creating to transform everyone’s lives is a dream job.
