Executive will also join the agency’s board; Alejandro Suárez remains CFO of the VML Group
VML presented this Thursday (2) Marcio Toscani, who joins the team to assume the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and join the board of the agency led by Karina Ribeiro, announced as CEO of the agency at the end of last year.
With more than 20 years of experience in the market, Marcio was co-CEO and COO of Leo Burnett Tailor Made, where he worked for more than 12 years, and co-CEO of Arc. The executive also had stints at Publicis Brasil, Viacom and Dupont.
Result of the merger between VMLY&R and Wunderman Thompson, announced in 2023, the VML operation began on January 1, 2024.
Throughout his career, Toscani contributed to the growth and profitability of these companies, customers and partners. The executive managed important projects, optimizing processes and resources and implementing digital transformation strategies. Toscani is also a business advisor, supporting entrepreneurs and startups with mentoring and guidance.

Alejandro Suárez continues as CFO of the VML Group, which, in addition to the VML agency and its VML Commerce business unit, also comprises Marketdata, Corebiz, PMWeb, Mutato, Mirum, Enext and i-Cherry.
