Cimed announced a series of actions to support victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul, with the donation of R$1 million in medicines to the state government.
In addition, the pharmaceutical company will also write off payments for purchases made by pharmacies affected by the flood, will replace 100% of lost merchandise from all the thousand affected pharmacies and will reduce the price of products for consumers.
Around 72 thousand packages of wet wipes, one of the items in greatest demand in the affected region, were also donated by the company and can be collected free of charge by the population at pharmacies in the São João and Panvel chains.
Cimed’s entire logistical structure and Distribution Centers are operating at maximum capacity to keep pharmacies supplied, especially with basic items.
