With exposure on the men’s team’s master property, the partnership also includes the inclusion of Betfair on the shoulder blade of the women’s team’s shirts, in addition to digital content.
“It is an honor and an achievement to close this partnership, the biggest in Vasco’s history, with Betfair. It took weeks of intense work to get the best for our club with a huge and consolidated company. We still have challenges ahead but our commitment of working seriously and hard for Vasco continues”, said Lúcio Barbosa, CEO of Vasco.
The debut of the uniform that will feature the brand will take place this Sunday (12), in São Januário, in the clash against Vitória, in the sixth round of the Brazilian Championship.
Betfair will also feature brand exposure on Vasco da Gama’s digital media, training uniforms and other assets. The sponsorship will also include a series of activations aimed at fans, such as raffles and prizes for VIP tickets and official products, promotions and experiences.
The public was able to see Vasco’s new uniform at an event held at Orla 21 Rooftop, in Rio de Janeiro, which was attended by representatives of the men’s and women’s team, such as players Vegetti, Paulinho, Léo, Keiller, Maicon, as well as by Taty, India, Lidy, Vilmara, Guedes and Maria Vitória.
The event was organized by Octagon Latam, an agency that will also be responsible for developing sponsorship activations between Betfair and Vasco.
“The partnership between Vasco and Betfair is not just a master sponsorship on the team’s shirt, it is also a strategic collaboration based on shared values, excellence and passion for football, respecting the greatness of its history, but also strengthening investment in project within the Rio team to help develop the club’s present and future. We are very excited to bring Vasco fans experiences that only Betfair can offer to bring fans even closer to their club and all the action of each match. ”, added Kimberly Daly, General Director of Betfair International.
