Tomorrowland, the biggest electronic music event in the world, together with Amazon Music, received the biggest advertising award in the world, the Webby Awardsfor his documentary “We are Tomorrow ft. Alok”, in the Video – Events & Live Streams category. The Webby Awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet, and the awards ceremony will take place in New York today. Directed by Wim Bonte, the documentary is a 30-minute cinematic journey that portrays the stories of the Brazilian producer Alok and his family, two Ukrainian refugees, Veronika and Mykola, Peruvian Carlos who met his partner, Antwerp architect Kurt, at the festival, and Indian-Australian Alwyn, who brought his sister on the adventure for the first time.
In collaboration with Amazon Music, “We Are Tomorrow” offers an in-depth look at the music and global community that defines Tomorrowland, transcending preconceptions towards the electronic scene and offering viewers an intimate look at the iconic festival by introducing the different protagonists of a raw and authentic way during your trip and until the festival celebration.
