This year, students will create packaging for a Harald fine confectionery product, seeking to meet premium quality requirements and align with the values of sustainability and circularity. New designers will be challenged to innovate with materials that promote a complete experience for the consumer, with a 360° approach and efficient integration into industrial processes.
The initiative also seeks to emphasize criteria such as creativity and feasibility of execution, important points for reducing environmental impacts. Cazoolo will provide students with the tools and support necessary for this development.
“Our goal is to empower design students to think creatively and sustainably, while advancing their careers. We will provide full support so they can apply their knowledge and develop skills in an environment with real market situations”, says Tarcio Borgo, designer and responsible for innovation and sustainability programs at Cazoolo.
Throughout the program, teams will have mentoring, prototyping time and the opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals to develop innovative solutions. And, at the end of the challenge, they will present the circular packaging project to a panel of experts, which includes Harald’s team of experts to define the viability and quality of the product.
“This partnership represents Harald’s ongoing commitment to sustainable innovation. By supporting this initiative, we are not only fostering the creativity and talent of future designers, but also contributing to the development of more sustainable packaging aligned with our values of quality and environmental responsibility. We are looking forward to seeing the innovative solutions developed by these students”, comments Fernanda Sequetto, Marketing Manager at Harald.
