Out-of-home media company plans to expand revenue by 54% in 2024, compared to last year
Kallas Mídia OOH is celebrating 45 years and intends to expand negotiations with small and medium-sized companies by up to 25%, still in 2024, in addition to estimating a 54% increase in revenue, compared to 2023.
The company currently has 80 commercial agents spread across its 26 offices, providing more one-to-one actions with potential clients. Furthermore, it has the goal of increasing the number of employees by 32%.
“The company is growing rapidly. Since its foundation, Kallas has been a goal-oriented company, being the strongest in the middle market on the market. With a more structured commercial, our strategy for 2024 includes the diversification of our product portfolio , with regard to subways, buses, ports, airports and urban furniture. This year, Kallas has already delivered the installation of 8 digital fingers, walkways between the departure hall and the aircraft, at Santos Dumont Airport, in Rio de Janeiro. The installation involves using the internal space of the fingers with digital media. In addition, the company also won the urban furniture and signage concession in Manaus, with a 20-year contract that covers the care of 627 pieces of equipment, including 327 bus shelters, 28 digital clocks and 272 billboards.
The company started with airport media work at the Duty Free Shop, in Rio de Janeiro. In 1979, Luiz Roberto Kallas opened the group’s first company with the unprecedented placement of OOH at a Brazilian airport. “It was another moment in the advertising industry. When talking about airport media, many people turned up their noses, as it was an unexplored format, ahead of its time. In recent years, Kallas Mídia OOH has been presenting new urban furniture equipment in a project to create prototype pieces, seeking to offer innovation and technology with suppliers that have capacity and delivery compatible with the current market reality. In addition to features such as identity design, which seeks inspiration from Brazilian history and geography, a fitting and assembly system created custom-made for the company, state-of-the-art LED and LCD panels. Sustainability is also part of the project with the capture of solar energy, aiming at the self-sufficiency of bus shelters, in relation to lighting and energy supply from coupled digital panels, recycled glass and steel and also disposal of materials in accordance with sustainable practices .
