In a new collaboration, the YouTube it’s at Sony Pictures Television create the Shark Tank Brazil: Creators version. The program is an extension of the renowned Shark Tank Brasil, the largest entrepreneurship reality show in the country, and aims to promote entrepreneurship among content creators, in addition to supporting projects that have a positive social impact. The episodes will be shown exclusively on program channel no YouTube.
The initiative focuses on the Creator Economy, an ecosystem that allows creators to create and distribute their content, earn money, and become strong brands and profitable companies. As a curiosity about the relevance of this sector for the Brazilian economy, YouTube helped to generate more than 140 thousand jobs and contributed R$4.55 billion to the Brazilian GDP in 2022 alone, according to research carried out by Oxford Economics.
The dynamics of Shark Tank Brasil: Creators Version will be a little different from the original version. Instead of entrepreneurs presenting their businesses, we have creators presenting content projects with a social impact bias. The Sharks chairs also change: now they are occupied by guests linked to the Creators Economy, such as Top Creators entrepreneurs, influencer marketing professionals, Creators specialists in social impact, Sharks from the official program and, sitting in the main chair, a representative of the sponsoring brand. At the end of the episode, only one of the projects will be chosen to receive the award and be financed.
According to Esly Paiva, leader of Packages and Connection with Creators at YouTube Brazil, “Shark Tank Brasil: Creators Version was born with the mission of highlighting the entrepreneurial side of content creators who are becoming increasingly powerful brands. Many breeders literally stopped being fish and became sharks. In addition to becoming powerful brands, creators drive extremely engaged communities, even better when the projects to be presented have an associated positive social impact.”
Each episode will be presented by a sponsor and will address a topic based on a social concept, within the ESG pillars. Themes can be adapted according to the ESG pillars that make the most sense for each brand. The season will be sponsored by Cielo and Volkswagen. Content creators will present their projects related to this topic, but only one will be sponsored by the brand in each episode.

The project’s production will be carried out by Floresta, a producer at Sony Pictures Television in Brazil, which is already responsible for adaptations of global franchises and original formats of different genres, such as Shark Tank Brasil itself.
