David Miami announced the arrival of Edgard Gianesi as Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of the agency. He will succeed Rafa Donato, who held the chair for the last three years and is now working as CCO at Ogilvy Brasil.
Known as Ed, the executive has worked at David since 2015 and, most recently, served as ECD of the agency’s São Paulo office, leading his team in winning more than 25 Cannes Lions, among other awards such as The One Show, D&AD and I work for brands such as Coca-Cola, Burger King and Faber-Castell.
“Ed has a history with David, an agency that highly values its talents and takes pride in seeing them evolve within the network’s structure. Additionally, he brings the experience of working with international clients and brands who seek creative excellence as a business differentiator”, stated Carolina Vieira, Managing Director of David Miami.
Ed is a writer by training and has built his career working for several global brands. Prior to joining DAVID, he served for five years as Lowe UK’s global creative director for Unilever, Cadillac and other brands.
