Executive returns to the group to lead internal and external communication, integrating the new Growth & Operations area.
O Publicis Groupe announces new communication structure in Brazil, starting this month with the role of Chief Communication Officer. To assume the new position and lead the external and internal communication strategy of all its agencies and companies, the group hired executive Paula Ganem, who will report to the group’s Chief Operating Officer in the country, Déa Fernandes.
The move is part of Publicis Groupe’s transformation process in Brazil to always remain its clients’ main strategic partner. This work involves the creation of a Growth & Operations area, led by Déa and which supports the growth of the agencies. The area also has strategy, marketing, revenue management and operations professionals.
“In addition to seeing the full potential of communication as a business tool, Paula knows the market and culture of Publicis well, as she had a long previous experience with the group. We are in a profound process of transformation so that we are increasingly perceived as strategic partners for our clients and it is great to know that we can count on talents that we trained here, and who are now returning home, on this journey”, comments Déa.
At WPP for three years, Paula Ganem worked as head of Marketing and Communications for the VML Group. Previously, she spent seven years at Publicis Groupe, taking care of all the company’s institutional matters and communications for the Publicis and Sapient agencies. A journalist by training, Paula has a postgraduate degree in International Journalism and an MBA in Marketing.
