A Coca Cola is the new partner of São Paulo. The agreement will be valid for three years and a total of R$11 million for the club. Therefore, approximately R$3.7 million annually.
Under the agreement, Coca-Cola will have exclusive rights to supply soft drinks, water and isotonic drinks (Powerade) to the team. The contract also involves the commercialization of products in MorumBISin São Paulo Tricolor games.
Even though the partnership will have to be voted on by the Council, approval will not be a problem given the strength of president Julio Casares behind the scenes at the club. It is worth remembering that Coca-Cola was São Paulo’s main sponsor between 1988 and 1991.
After a vote by the fans, sectors of MorumBIS gain new names
São Paulo FC announced the results of the poll to choose the new names for the MorumBIS sectors. With votes made by the fans, the campaign only had options for products from Mondelez, the company responsible for the stadium’s naming rights.
At the end of April, the São Paulo club announced the opening of the poll so that fans could rename the sectors. Among the options, it was possible to choose Oreo or Club Social; Black Diamond or Tang; Lacta or Halls; and Ouro Branco or Trident.
Now, with the result of the “bisquisa” published, the sectors previously called by the cardinal points are now called Oreo (North), Diamante Negro (South), Lacta (East) and Ouro Branco (West).
