A Epson, a global leader in printing and image projection, continues to innovate with the ‘Let’s Create Together’ campaign, which combines innovation, creativity and technology. Designed 360°, with PR, social media and brand activations, the campaign publicizes the partnership with the singer ShakiraEpson ambassador in Brazil and Latin America.
What sets the action apart is the production of Out of Home (OOH) videos, which show giant equipment in tourist attractions in São Paulo (SP) and Rio de Janeiro (RJ). The company took EpiqVision smart projectors and EcoTank printers to strategic points in cities to design and print campaign content. During the activation, it is possible to see a giant EcoTank printing images on the Santa Ifigênia Viaduct and Arcos da Lapa, while a huge EpiqVision smart projector brings the campaign video on two of the cities’ biggest icons, Ponte Estaiada and Pão de Açúcar.
In addition to the out-of-home videos, made with Computer Graphics (CGI), the Let’s Create Together campaign also included the participation of 10 influencers from the Banca Digital agency: Gina Indelicada ( ginaindelicada), Nazaré Amarga ( nazareamarga), Soldado Ferido (soldiered) , Perrengue Chique ( perrengue_chique), Cucudas ( pokes), Nana Rude ( nanarude), Xuxanave ( xuxanave), Segue a Cami ( followacami), Caso Família ( casofamilia), Saiu Fofoca ( saiufofoca).
Since Shakira’s announcement as Epson’s ambassador in Latin America, in October last year, the singer has been an important figure for the brand in campaigns and actions that seek to enrich people’s lives. According to Marcelo Madi, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Products for the Consumer area at Epson do Brasil, Shakira has the power to attract the attention of new audiences and expand the reach of Epson’s message through her own brand.
“Our ambassador has been inspiring us positively since the beginning of the partnership. We are the market share leader in the ink tank printer market with 79.5% according to IDC Q4 2023. We have grown together and the 360° action is a great example of this”, says Madi.
What’s next?
Epson’s next actions related to Let’s Create Together include investments in online and offline campaigns, as well as new visuals. The objective is to show the excellent quality of printing and projection of the products, using the partnership as a basis, bringing the singer ever closer to the Brazilian public and reinforcing, for consumers, what is possible to create together, with different and innovative actions.
With positive expectations for the future, the company seeks to further increase its share in the printers and projectors segment. The market is constantly developing and there has been an increase in consumer need for more economical, practical and reliable printers, as well as smart projectors to watch their streaming, videos and games on larger screens with more practicality and portability.
According to data from PMA Q4 2023, home entertainment equipment already represents ¼ of the total consumer projector market. Epson seeks to meet these needs and understands that brand positioning actions such as Let’s Create Together contribute to the evolution of the sector.
